4. How long will it take to complete my wedding pictures
A Sneak Peek (around 40-60 images) will be posted 3 weeks after the wedding day in both our blog and Facebook page. Due to the care that each image from every wedding receives, color corrected pictures (the whole pictures) will be completed 3 months after the wedding day.
5 Can you tell me a bit more about the pictures files that I receive on DVD?
You will get a high resolution files on DVD. You can print up to 16" x 20" enlargement. We select and color correct each picture.
6. What is "Select and Color Correction"?
Selecting means going through all the thousands of photos from your wedding one at a time, and selecting the best ones.
Color correction means adjusting the color, contrast, and exposure of each image so each photo looks its best. Not all wedding photographers take time to do this, but we always do it because we want your wedding pictures to look their best.
7. What about "Photoshopping"?
Photoshopping is manipulating a picture digitally, for instance changing the color of the eye, or making a frown face to be a smiling face. This is not included in any of the wedding packages because it is so time consuming. Photoshop is not a solution for all. If the skirt is too short, I can't make it longer in photoshop.
8. Should I do a First Look?
First looks are magnificent. They are a private moment between you and your spouse, that you get to share, and the photographer is the only one there. It is raw and fantastic; and it relieves some of the stress of the day.
9. When should we do the wedding portraits?
A: This is mostly up to you, but usually a couple of hours before the ceremony (if you do first look) or immediately following the ceremony. Shooting before the ceremony allows you to check one more thing off the day’s to-do list early on and, more importantly, to afford you and the wedding party a chance to enjoy the cocktail hour and mingle with your guests. Shooting after the ceremony, depending on the time, could allow you to take advantage of the setting sun and its softer light.
